These terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") govern the use of eurovancleaningservices.com (the "Site"). This Site is owned and operated by EuroVan Cleaning Services. This Site is an ecommerce website.
By using this Site, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.
THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONTAIN A DISPUTE RESOLUTION CLAUSE THAT IMPACTS YOUR RIGHTS ABOUT HOW TO RESOLVE DISPUTES. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY.
Intellectual Property
All content published and made available on our Site is the property of EuroVan Cleaning Services and the Site's creators. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site.
Accounts
When you create an account on our Site, you agree to the following:
1. You are solely responsible for your account and the security and privacy of your account, including passwords or sensitive information attached to that account; and
2. All personal information you provide to us through your account is up-to-date, accurate, and truthful and you will update your personal information if it changes.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you are using our Site illegally or if you violate these Terms and Conditions.
Sale of Services
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of services available on our Site.
The following services are available on our Site:
Cleaning Services (Regular cleaning; Regular cleaning; Post-Repair Cleaning; Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning; Open House / Pre-Sale / Post-Purchase Cleaning; Emergency Cleaning)
Dry carpet cleaning; and
Upholstery Cleaning.
The services will be paid for in full upon completion.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all the services that are displayed on our Site at the time you access it. All information, descriptions, or images that we provide about our services are as accurate as possible. However, we are not legally bound by such information, descriptions, or images as we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all services we provide. You agree to purchase services from our Site at your own risk.
We reserve the right to modify, reject or cancel your order whenever it becomes necessary. If we cancel your order and have already processed your payment, we will give you a refund equal to the amount you paid. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund.
Subscriptions
Your subscription does not automatically renew. You will be notified before your next payment is due and must authorize that payment in order for your subscription to continue.
To cancel your subscription, please follow these steps: 48 hours prior.
Payments
We accept the following payment methods on our Site:

When you provide us with your payment information, you authorize our use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing us with your payment information, you authorize us to charge the amount due to this payment instrument.
If we believe your payment has violated any law or these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.
Guarantees
The following guarantees apply to our Site:
EuroVan Cleaning holds a 5 million liability insurance and maintains a WorkSafeBC injury policy for our team members..
Consumer Protection Law
Where the Business Practice and Consumer Protection Act, or any other consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction applies and
cannot be excluded, these Terms and Conditions will not limit your legal rights and remedies under that legislation. These Terms and Conditions will be read subject to the mandatory provisions of that legislation. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and that legislation, the mandatory provisions of the legislation will apply.
Limitation of Liability
EuroVan Cleaning Services and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from your use of the Site.
Indemnity
Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless EuroVan Cleaning and our owner. officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia.
Dispute Resolution
Subject to any exceptions specified in these Terms and Conditions, if you and EuroVan Cleaning are unable to resolve any dispute through informal discussion, then you and EuroVan Cleaning agree to submit the issue before a mediator. The decision of the mediator will not be binding. Any mediator must be a neutral party acceptable to both you and Euro Van Cleaning. The costs of any mediation will be shared equally between you and EuroVan Cleaning.
Notwithstanding any other provision in these Terms and Conditions, you and EuroVan Cleaning agree that you both retain the right to bring an action in small claims court and to bring an action for injunctive relief or intellectual property infringement.

Safety, health & work conditions:

As your property is our worksite, BC work standards requires you to provide team members a reasonably safe and comfortable space to work (eg. heating in the winter, lights, electricity, washroom with hand soap and toilet paper.)

If you have a viral infection (such as flu or COVID-19), please wear a face mask if you need to speak to our team onsite. We do not wish to spread illness to elderly clients. Please be considerate to open your windows for fresh air before our arrival….

You must have a hot water source for us to clean properly.

If you live in a high-rise building, your elevator should be working for us to transport cleaning supplies.

As we do not work at your property everyday, we are less familiar with our work surroundings. Please do not leave tripping hazards for us. Please put away sharp objects. Before we come, please pickup clothing/garbage off the floor (as we do not decide what is or is not garbage.)

The Team Leader is entitled to undertake a job safety analysis before the commencement of any work to assess the health and safety risk at the property.

The Team Leader may, either before or during the provision of the service not provide or cease the provision of the service where carrying out the service presents, in the absolute discretion of the Team Leader, a risk to health and safety.

Moisture on your furniture, floors and carpets can present a slip hazard on nearby hard surface areas, we ask that the client avoid any areas that we are cleaning, and will advise any other guests, residents or contractors of this hazard until the floors and carpets are dry.

The client must agree to keep children or dependents away from any equipment or hot water being used as a part of the cleaning process.

The client must ensure that the environment that the client is inviting the team to work in, is a safe environment free from electrical, structural or bio-hazards.

Cleaning solutions (regardless if eco-friendly, biodegradable or natural) should not be considered for human consumption.
Additional Terms

BOOKING:
-
The client may make a booking either by telephone, email or on the EuroVan Cleaning website.

At the time of booking the client must provide details of any hazards, slippery surfaces, risks or dangers.

EuroVan Cleaning provides all quotations at the time of booking.

EuroVan Cleaning reserves the right not to accept a booking for any reason
-
WEEKEND FEE:
For any services provided on weekend days (Saturday and Sunday), an additional fee of $5 per hour will be applied to the standard rate.;

LATE CANCELLATION FEE:
If it is necessary for you to reschedule, cancel your one-time/sporadic booking (or skip your recurring booking), we require a minimum of 48 HOURS NOTICE notice by email or phone. Otherwise, you agree to pay a late Cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of your booking. (Eg. If you booked a service worth $200, you pay $100.) This fee applies to ALL circumstances — including elevator locks, power outages, COVID-19 symptoms, illness and family emergencies.

LOCKOUT FEE:
The crew rarely comes on time but waits for the client to open. Clients may experience emergencies, forget, sleep in, or arrive late to a meeting. You agree to pay a lock-out fee for the team's wait time before opening the door. This is determined using the following formula: number of team members x minutes waited for x man-hour rate.; and

CONDUCT:
Please respect the staff. Canada has a significant labour deficit. Our team members are human beings who respond enormously to compassion. Our team members should be polite and refrain from smoking, eating, or drinking while on your property, as well as watching television. Their main objective while in your home is to do the agreed-upon cleaning service. If your project requires a whole day, please set up a dining area for the crew to take their lunch break.

KEYS:
Please ensure that your property is accessible to us. If you are not accessible for entrance, please leave a key to your property in a secure, agreed-upon place on the day of cleaning.

SECURITY ALARMS:
If your property has a security system, please ensure that it is turned off or notify our office of the codes prior to servicing. Please tell our office if the code changes.
Severability
If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.
Changes
These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our Site and the way we expect users to behave on our Site. We will notify users by email within 48 hours of changes to these Terms and Conditions or post a notice on our Site.
